A plant belonging to the pharmaceutical company Kusum was destroyed in Sumy due to a Russian attack on 4 October.

Details: A company employee, Yevhen Miroshnychenko, was killed in the attack. He had worked in the plant's engineering department since 2009.
Quote: "The facility produced medicines that are vital for Ukrainians. One of our key tasks now is to do everything possible to ensure that Ukrainian patients continue to have uninterrupted access to the medicines they need."
Details: The press service noted that the company continues to operate. In addition to its production facilities in Ukraine, the company has manufacturing facilities in India.
"This will allow us, in the absence of artificial regulatory obstacles, to restructure our processes and work to ensure uninterrupted supplies of medicines to Ukraine," the company said.
It is currently assessing the extent of the destruction.
